We only collect personal information that is relevant to the purpose of our website. This information allows us to provide you with a customized and efficient experience. 

All personal data collected by Bernstein is processed in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EC) No 45/2001 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 18 December 2000 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data by the Community institutions and bodies and on the free movement of such data.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18 without consent from a parent or guardian. If we learn a child has provided personal information, we may delete it.

What information we collect

Users choosing to use the Services may be required to register or create an account through the Services. In order to register or create an account, we may ask any such User to provide information including, but not limited to, that person's name, email address, and location. We may retain any emails, letters, messages, postings, or other correspondence between you and Bernstein to ensure quality control and the best possible service, although we have no obligation to do so.

We may also ask Users to provide a valid credit card number and billing address or other payment information so that we can process any payments for use of the Service by such User, pursuant to our Terms of Use. We will not make any credit card information available to anyone except for third party companies we partner with to process credit card payments. We will not store any credit card information on our servers.

In the event that Bernstein discovers that PII has been compromised as a result of a breach of security, we will promptly notify those persons whose PII has been compromised in accordance with the notification procedures set forth below.

Non-personally identifiable information is information that, by itself, cannot be tracked to a specific individual. We may collect non-personally identifiable information while you use the Services.

Log information
Servers automatically record information that your browser sends whenever you visit a website. These server logs may include information such as the date and time of your visit, your Internet Protocol address, browser type, browser language, browser screen size, and one or more cookies that identify your browser. The information we collect is only used to compile statistics, on an aggregated basis, on the usage of our site.
